NATURAL. CREAMY. HEARTY.
A Bavarian treat to spread
Our Obazda is made using our homemade Camembert, which is made from Bavarian milk. It is enriched with cream, butter and spices, and contains no artificial additives. Whether served with pretzels in the traditional way, as a dip, or in wraps and burgers, our Obazda brings a taste of Bavaria to every kitchen. As a true cultural treasure, our Obazda bears the EU-protected PGI seal. Only cheese spreads containing at least 50% Camembert, produced regionally in Bavaria, are permitted to bear this name. We are passionate about preserving this heritage, and we offer it in three varieties: Classic, Fried Onion and Spring Onion.
The basis of our spread is fresh Alpine milk
Our own Camembert, made from Bavarian milk, forms the basis of this delicious product. Blended with cream, butter and spices, this Bavarian export hit is created. The other ingredients in our recipe are tradition, passion and quality – our Obazda contains no preservatives, colourings or flavour enhancers.
Every meal is a treat
For us, sharing a meal is about enjoyment and conviviality. Our Alpenhain Obazda has its roots firmly in its homeland, with a classic Bavarian flavour. Yet it is also cosmopolitan and versatile, and not only suits traditional pretzels as a spread, but also wraps, sandwiches and burgers, bringing a taste of Bavaria to your meal. Raw vegetables become a delicious treat when served with Obazda as a dip.
