For over 40 years, our baked Camembert has delighted cheese lovers of all ages, and it will continue to do so. Made with the finest Bavarian milk and no additives, it impresses with its crispy coating and creamy centre. Whether it's cooked in the oven, frying pan or air fryer, it's always a treat, especially when served with fine wild cranberries.

The Alpenhain Baked Camembert is not only for absolut cheese lovers. The traditional Baked Camembert with cranberries is, of course, a classic. However, to reduce it to just that would not do justice to the quality of our product. With the right recipe, our Camembert will transport you to a whole new world of flavours. Baked Camembert with cranberries is the perfect base for unleashing your creativity in the kitchen and doesn't have to be boring!

Our Alpenhain Back-Camembert contains no flavourings, flavour enhancers or additives. Why would it need them when it's made with the finest Bavarian milk and passionate craftsmanship? Our commitment to quality and sustainability starts with the source of our milk. None of our contract farmers' cows are more than 50 kilometres away from the Alpenhain cheese dairy. This ensures short transport routes and fresh milk. Find out more about some of our 250 partner farms, which have worked with Alpenhain for generations and are practically part of the family.

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C (heat from top and bottom). Remove Baked Camembert Classic from film packaging and place them on the baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake on the middle shelf for approximately 10 - 12 minutes. (fan assisted oven: 180°C, approx. 10 - 12 minutes)

Frying pan

Frying pan

Heat a small amount of fat or oil in a frying pan. Remove Baked Camembert classic from film packaging and fry each side for approximately 3 - 4 minutes at medium heat.

Deep fryer

Deep fryer

Preheat deep fryer to 160°C. Remove Baked Camembert classic from film packaging and fry for approx. 2 - 3 minutes.

Air fryer

Air fryer

Remove Baked Camembert classic from film packaging and fry in the airfryer at 180°C for approximately 4 - 5 minutes until the surface of the cheese slightly rises.

Questions about Baked Camembert

Yes, all our porducts are vegetarian.
For our soft cheese, we use a microbial rennet substitute. This means that vegetarians can also enjoy our delicious products.
We use fresh Alpine milk for our soft cheese. We source this from family-run farms in the region with an average of 40 cows per farm. The furthest farm is no more than 50 km away. We have had close ties with many of our dairy farmers for several generations.
Yes, our Back-Camembert Classic is lactose-free. Lactose, also known as milk sugar, is a natural component of milk, but it is broken down by lactic acid bacteria during the maturation process. In Germany, cheese can be labelled 'lactose-free' if it contains less than 0,1 g/100 g
