Grilled Cheese Gyros

Grate or shred the red cabbage very finely, season with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, vinegar and oil and allow to stand for 30 minutes. Halve the grapes and add. Slice the cheese into thin strips and fry until golden-brown in a greased pan according to package instructions. Warm the pitta breads lightly in an oven, toaster or pan and carefully open out. First add a little of the salad and then the cheese strips, sprinkle with some fresh cress.
