ALPENHAIN in the region

Flourish
southeast of Upper Bavaria between Rosenheim and Wasser-
burg am Inn, not far from Lake Chiemsee lays the home com-

munity of Pfaffing. The neighbouring community is Rott am
Inn with its Rococo church, praised in travel guides as "probably
the most beautiful church interior of the 18th century". Artists
such as Johann Michael Fischer, Ignaz and Matthäus Günther
